My apologies for the slow activity lately, everyone. I have been having some lifestyle changes that include an additional job and physical therapy. Things may be slow for awhile longer, but the group will never be abandoned. If I get to a point where I can't manage all the groups anymore, this would be one that I would keep. The time for submissions to the Second International Arts for Animal Rights Contest (IARC) has just started! Your challenge is to create (or offer, if already made from or after April 2012) a nice piece of art supporting animal rights. Do your best to show to the world the importance of respecting ALL the animals! You´ll likely focus on just one or some of them, but I mean, please choose an animal that people usually are not respecting.

As last year, every kind of technique will be accepted. The deadline for submissions is March 31st. It means, you have 2 whole months to work on this. And the winners are expected to be announced in April 2013.

The prizes will be at least a Premium Membership (or equivalent dA points), a watercolor or gouache comission I can do for you and special highlights during the 2013 Brazilian Arts for Animal Rights Exhibit (and maybe in an event in Japan too).

We start again with the «Naturama» Project, that assemble artists, to draw for saving the nature! This time there won't be a complicated assinging-rounds. The artists will chose a request for a picture of their choice directly and work it out.
Apart from that our art raffle at the end of the «Naturama» Project is new. Every customer get the chance to win an special prize in addition to their commissioned artwork.

This project has united a group of talented and ambitious artists who would like to make a contribution towards active Nature Conservation together with you.
At a time when the industry, the economy and the globalisation are taking a more and more important role of life, the environment as well as the flora and fauna are becoming less important.
Therefore, we are actively engaged in improving the chance for endangered animals and the constantly decreasing habitats.

In the course of the project, participating artists are offering a commissioned picture in order to draw it for a fixed amount. The gained amount will be collected and subsequently, giving to different Nature Conservation Organisations.

take your time and make yourself familiar with the participating artists and get to know more about them. Depending on you, you have now the opportunity to contact your favourites and describe them your request of type of picture. The artists will take on your picture description and will give you a feedback.
When artists are receiving several requests of pictures, the artists will choose only one request as otherwise, the action will exceed the individual capacities. Therefore, we recommend applying for a free place by different artists.
In the case of deciding to be a part of the «Naturama» Project 2013, you will not only received a wonderful and individually for you created picture to a moderate price, but also contributing actively to Nature Conservation and Preservation of the flora and fauna!
